Irrashaimase! I’m Layne, an American living in Japan with my husband and our daughter. In April of 2015, we sold our house, our cars, and (most of) our earthly possessions to embark on this expat adventure. We traded life in the suburbs for life in the city. We traded comfort for adventure. We are absolutely thrilled to have this opportunity, and we plan to take full advantage of it by crossing off some bucket-list destinations while we are on this side of the world.
